Durante el mes de octubre se proyectarán películas colombianas en los barrios del suroccidente de Barranquilla. VoKaribe, tu radio comunitaria, ha preparado junto a la Cinemateca del Caribe, y la Biblioteca Popular del Barrio la Paz, una programación de primera mano para los y las amantes del buen cine. Asiste gratis a las funciones y cambia la rutina de tus fines de semana. No dejes de ver buen cine colombiano desde los 89.6 fm en tu localidad del suroccidente !!
La Semana del Cine Colombiano es un evento organizado por la Dirección de Cinematografía del Ministerio de Cultura. En Barranquilla, las exhibiciones están a cargo de la Cinemateca del Caribe, en su Sala Boston y con su Cinemóvil, la Biblioteca Popular del Barrio La Paz y la Emisora Comunitaria del Suroccidente VoKaribe.
Conforman la muestra un total de 15 largometrajes y 23 cortometrajes, que han sido premiados en más de 40 festivales alrededor del mundo como Cannes, San Sebastián, Venecia, Berlín y Sundance, o que han hecho parte de homenajes a nuestra cinematografía como en la Sección Todos los cines del mundo del Festival de Cine de Cannes (Francia), el Festival la Mar de las Músicas de Cartagena (España), el Festival Internacional de Cine de Guadalajara (México), el Sunny Side of the Doc (Francia), el Festival de Cine Latinoamericano de Vancouver (Canadá) y el Festival Latinoamericano de Video de Rosario (Argentina), entre otros.
